Accolade

Accolade Musikverlag und Notenversand was founded in 1995 in Bad Wiessee, Bavaria, by Celia Collins and Bodo Koenigsbeck, who has been sole owner since 2002. Whilst working on his bassoon bibliography (Musica Rara, now Breitkopf & Härtel), Bodo Koenigsbeck discovered numerous unpublished manuscripts in various archives. He published these works and also contemporary pieces and arrangements in his own publishing house. Therefore the emphasis is on music for bassoon, but also to a large extent on string chamber music (amongst other things, the complete chamber music for strings from trios to sextet by Ferdinand Ries).
Interested parties are most welcome to make an appointment to view our large stock of music in Warngau, Upper Bavaria.

Billaudot

Founded by Louis Billaudot (1871-1936), our Publishing House remains a family business since his two sons, Robert (1910-1981) and Gérard (1911-1986), succeeded him.

The latter ran the company as of 1957, with his son-in-law, François Derveaux, taking over in 1979 within a new structure: Gérard Billaudot Editeur SA. Currently, his second daughter, Florence, runs the company, so the fourth generation continues to carry the musical flame.

Chiarugi

Firm “Chiarugi” started in Trento in the early Seventies for the initiative of Mrs. Olga Chiarugi and her husband Mr. Giustini.
Due to the experience handed down to the actual owners of the firm and to the technical innovations of the last few years, it has become one of the main reference point in the world about making accessories and machineries for the processing of double reeds.
The activity of the firm is divided in three parts:
- production of tools for processing of reeds-cane, knives, mandrels, shapers, etc, a wide range of high quality level accessories;
- production of brass and nickel silver tubes, the widest choice of models in the world, worked with unique machineries and processing;
- production of accessories such as reed-cases, reed-tablet, etc., necessary to every musician.
All products are made following the principle of the firm: projecting, realizing and placing products with a very high technical level and competitive prices at clients’ disposal.

Firm “Chiarugi” – with its six employees – intends to confirm its outcomes and to meet its own clients’ requirements, whose advices are useful for its continuous development.

Der Verlag C. F. Peters gehört zu den ältesten und renommiertesten Musikverlagen der Welt. Seit 1800 werden die Werke der bedeutendsten Komponisten der Musikgeschichte verlegt. Im August 2010 schlossen sich schließlich die Peters Edition Ltd. London, die C.F. Peters Corporation New York, der C.F. Peters Musikverlag Frankfurt/Main und die Leipziger Firmen der Edition Peters zur Edition Peters Group zusammen.

Hal Leonard

In the late 1930s in Winona, Minnesota, Harold "Hal" Edstrom, his brother Everett "Leonard" Edstrom and their friend Roger Busdicker had formed a very popular dance band. The Edstroms' father didn't approve of his sons becoming traveling musicians, and did not want them to use the family name. Consequently, Harold and Ev took parts of their names and called the band Hal Leonard. As leader of the Hal Leonard Band, Ev eventually became known as "Hal Leonard."
